Elon in Focus (August 2023)
Elon in Focus is a comprehensive publication about Elon University, highlighting the university’s mission, programs, campus and student life. I was the lead writer, editor and project manager for this piece, consulting with departments and offices across the university to create a complete, accessible overview of the institution.
Achieving Excellence Together: A Century of Community Partnership with Alamance County (November 2023)
Alamance County residents played a crucial role in rebuilding Elon University when much of the original campus burned down in 1923. I was the lead writer, editor and project manager for this publication about the partnership between the university and the community in the 100 years since, including educational, health, service, civic and cultural initiatives.
2017 President’s Report (December 2017)
I served as the primary writer, editor and project manager for the 2017 President’s Report, which highlighted faculty scholarship, student achievement and institutional highlights from the academic year. I worked with a talented video, photo and web design team to bring the project to fruition.
Division of Inclusive Excellence website (July 2021)
I was the project manager and lead editor for this website, working in partnership with leadership from the Division of Inclusive Excellence and the University Communications web designer to execute it. The site is a hub for resources, news and information related to the division’s work, which aims “to create a community where people strive to dismantle oppression and where individuals flourish.”
Ready & Resilient brochure (August 2020)
Ready & Resilient was a multifaceted campaign involving everyone in University Communications and departments across campus as we prepared to return to in-person learning for fall semester amid COVID-19. I served as the lead editor and project manager for the brochure that was distributed to all students, faculty and staff at the beginning of the semester.
Elon Day (March 2021)
I serve as the primary liaison between University Communications and University Advancement for deliverables related to Elon Day, the university’s annual day of giving. I work in partnership with the designers to bring University Advancement’s vision to life in a creative and effective way in everything from mailers (like the one linked above), yard signs and stickers to digital boards, social media graphics and T-shirts.
